Ah, the holidays are here. If you’re looking for something to do other than being squished in a packed mall have I got something fun for you. It is a progressive play day that is about getting in some fun with your kidlets and giving a little bit back to the community. Three businesses in Monrovia, Kid’s Art , Paint N Play and Scoops have banded with a unique way to do just that.
Details after the jump.
Your morning will start with making a Ceramic Ornament at Paint n Play that you can put on your tree or let them give as a gift. Next it is onto Kid’s Art where they make their own Holiday card. While at Kid’s Art they get to color an angel that will be donated to the Foothill Unity Center , a Monrovia non-profit who helps meet the needs or our low income families.
The last stop is for a Holiday Sundae building at Scoop’s.
This fun event will take place on Saturday November 24, December 8 and again December 15th. It will be starting at 10:30 after the local breakfast with Santa so no conflicts and you get to sleep in a bit if you skip the brekkie.
As sappy as it sounds I love those little hand made cards and ornaments my own kidlets have made me over the years. It’s a nice tie back to when they were little, it is even nicer to see how they have grown. This is just a great way for you to have some fun and build your own memories while giving back a little to the community.
