Seems like yesterday I was bitching about my Halloween costume, and how I didn’t want to be the guy that had to explain what the hell he was all night. As it turns out, I was, and I did.
Halloween has come and gone, and Thanksgiving is next week. Yep. Next week.
This means that it’s time for a Los Angeles tradition: The lighting of the tree at The Grove.
Christmas lights, fake snow, and tourists with cameras. They will descend upon this mall of holiday cheer, and hold hands and sing as they go skipping through Banana Republic and Anthropologie.
Ah, yes… Santa’s coming. You’d better show up and buy something.
Hollywood Christmas Celebration at The Grove
Sunday, November 18 at 7 p.m
Performances by Smokey Robinson, Patti LaBelle, the Goo Goo Dolls, and Mannheim Steamroller. After all, what would Christmas be without the Steamroller? Jingle on, Chip Davis! Jingle on!
