If I have any pride at all in being a resident of Pasadena, it's because Jackie Robinson once lived here. I'm still waiting for Pasadena to name a school or something after Jackie (they named the main post office after Mack). When my son was 5 (he's now 23), he played t-ball with West Pasadena Little League at Jackie Robinson Park. He was the only white kid on the team. When we got the team photo, my son said, "Look, Mom.
