Free tickets to this weekend’s Shriekfest in exchange for your soul!

First, a personal plug: for the month of October, I’ve created CreepyLA – a blog devoted to haunted attractions, local ghost stories, and all things Halloween in and around Los Angeles. Peek inside if you dare.

But via CreepyLA, I was able to scare up 20 (thats right, 20!) tickets to screenings for this weekend’s Shriekfest, being held at Raleigh Studios Friday thru Sunday.

The seventh incarnation of Shriekfest, a festival devoted to independent horror films, will be held October 7th to the 10th at the supposedly haunted Raleigh Studios. Over two dozen short films will be screened as well as nine features in a festival that prides itself on making an effort to get its work seen by agents and distributors, which also features a screenplay competition.

To win a ticket, be among the first 20 to reply with the name of the film you’d most like to see from this year’s Shriekfest program. (One ticket per person, so if you want to bring a friend you’ll need to torture them until they leave a comment.)

  1. I would like one ticket please to see Paula Haifley’s “Movie Monster Insurance”, playing this Saturday as part of Shriekfest’s shorts programming, at noon on the dot.

What’s that Mr. Markland? You say they’re just for our friendly reader friends?

Well, THEY should definitely go see Paula Haifley’s “Movie Monster Insurance”, playing this Saturday as part of Shriekfest’s shorts programming, at noon on the dot.

    (PS. Paula is my friend.)
