For some fun art outside the gallery setting check out the Pasadena Chalk Festival this weekend June 16 and 17, 10 AM to 7PM daily in the Paseo Colorado commons area. The last few years have been pretty packed for good reason…great art created before your very eyes. Much nicer way to spend Fathers Day than standing in some buffet line looking at tired old menus!
As this is Pasadena, parking will be at a premium and I’d suggest you take the Gold Line and bus it from the station to Paseo Colorado. Far easier than driving around in circles trying to park, paying dearly for it if you find it, or worse their little parking trolls write you a ticket with an alleged time that places your car already back at home in your driveway.
