		<description>Actually, if you go to an east-facing beach in LA, you&#039;re probably at the swimming beach down at Cabrillo in San Pedro. :-)

Of course, if that&#039;s where you are, then you&#039;re inside the harbor breakwater, so you probably shouldn&#039;t expect much in the way of surf. :-)
