Today I took a tour of a really cool recycling plant in Downtown LA called Downtown Diversion [warning auto-play movie with sound]. They process and recycle 350 million pounds of construction and demolition waste per year. I wrote more about it here on eecue.com and of course took a bunch of photos of their plant, many in HDR and all Creative Commons licensed.

love the image, the ghosting as the shovel moves creates a nice sense of energy too. Subtle and certainly better than completely frozen in time.
