Yarn sale of the century

61229.jpgKnitters, I’ve been remiss. There was a terrific sale at Black Sheep Knittery and I didn’t tell you about it. But! I have good news! They’ve extended the sale through May 1st.

You’re not even going to believe me, but everything is 50% off. EVERYTHING. Books, needles, and of course yarn. And they have some nice yarn. The only exception to the sale is the yarn in the $3 bins up front, which of course are already on sale.

I bought enough Rowan denim for a sweater (I am not making a sweater with it, but I could)*, some Manos del Uruguay, some Blue Sky Alpaca Silk, and a set of #10 dpns for $50. It’s like Christmas!

*Actually, I don’t know yet what I’m making with it. I was thinking I’d make a little jean jacket for Sam, but I can’t find a good pattern. Anybody know of one?

  1. I love that you posted it AFTER you went and got what you wanted – SOOO like what I did last month with the Little Knittery sale.

I may just head over there anyway – I’ve never been to that store and it’s pretty close.

    Thanks for the gentle nudge.

  2. Helen – I am as tense as they come and I can knit. You can too! Join us…

Ruth – I would have posted about it sooner but I kept forgetting! The store does NOT look like they’re having a huge sale – they have tons of stock, all very nice stuff.
