I really want an El Camino

It may not be chopped and lowered, but this one would work just fine:

(I love how the windshield helpfully identifies the model. In case you were unsure and thought it might be a Malibu.)

  1. Are you sure, from the photo it kinda looks like an original Mini Cooper, but the paint is throwing me for a loop. I guess they wouldn’t lie on the window but I’m skeptical.

  2. Thats another nice thing about SoCal…we are so removed from the rust belt there are all sorts of survivors out there. My personal favorite El Camino is the 68,69 with the 327. Nice find, if you find a running Pinto Wagon in your wanderings let me know as that is my next restoration project.

  3. No way. This is the car that inpired me to buy a 1960 Elco a couple of years ago. This one I think is a 1966. I used to pass it all the time when I lived near K-town. If I remember correctly, it belongs to an older African American gentleman.
