Could Anna Nicole’s daughter be a Beverly Hills princess?

And how this could mean you could pay to be her brother or sister!

Not that the blog-o-sphere needs more discussions on Anna Nicole Smith’s deaths, but the recent declaration by Zsa Zsa Gabor husband that he’s the illegitimate father of Smith’s daughter, Dannielyn, got me Googling a little info on the man legally known as Frederick Prinz von Anhalt.

Better known in Beverly Hills as Prince Frederick von Anhalt, he didn’t earn the title until he was in his thirties, when he paid an elderly German princess to adopt him. According to a mention on last night’s Larry King, Von Anhalt has even been selling the opportunity to be adopted by him, so anyone could legally have the title of prince or princess!

Screw Jamba Juice, the selling of adoptions into royal families sounds like the next hot franchise opportunity. If it turns out that, in fact, Prince von Anhalt is the father of Anna Nicole’s daughter, he could make bank adopting people eager not only to gain the title of prince or princess, but to legally claim to be Dannielyn’s sister or brother.

But don’t get your hopes up yet – in November 2000, von Anhalt sued Pfizer, claiming he became addicted to Viagra and that the drug had made him impotent. Well, maybe just a little impotent.*

Less than a day after Anna Nicole’s death, Von Anhalt came forward as the third man claiming to be the father of Daniellyne, along with celebrity Larry Birkhead and Smith’s most recent love interest, her lawyer Howard K Stern. On Friday’s Larry King Live, Von Anhalt said, “Those guys are full of shit.”

”If you go back from September, she wasn’t with one of those guys, she was with me,” von Anhalt told The Associated Press in an interview. (source: KNX 1070)

Von Anhalt, who is Gabor’s eighth husband, said he and Smith first met in the 1990s when Smith was still married to elderly oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II. He said Smith approached him and Gabor at the Plaza Hotel in New York.

”She was a very big fan of Zsa Zsa and wanted to be like Zsa Zsa,” he said. ”She wanted to be a princess.”

He said the two started an affair soon after, meeting over the years in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York. For much of that time, he said, Smith urged him to make her a princess like his wife.

But short of divorcing the actress, he said the only solution would have been adopting Smith. Von Anhalt said he did consider that and even filled out adoption papers, but Gabor refused to sign them.

I wonder why not. He’d in essence be claiming Anna Nicole as his daughter so she’d continue an affair with him.

Strange? Probably of little consequence to Prince Von Anhalt, who said shortly after Zsa Zsa was arrested for slapping a Beverly Hills motorcyle cop, “The rich and famous should be treated differently. They bring the money into Beverly Hills.”**

Adding to the local bent, Zsa Zsa and Von Anhalt sued Gabor’s only daughter, Francesca Hilton in 2005 for stealing $2 million in a plot “to take out a $3.75 million loan on her Bel Air home through the use of forged Powers of Attorney” and using some of the money to purchase a home in Santa Monica.*** Some speculation is that Francesca believes von Anhalt is entirely behind the accusations.
