I came across this street off of Brooklyn Cesar Chavez (near Evergreen Cemetary) and it seems like a good enough sign to end the naming battle. East LA will now rejoice by acting like nothing happened. Todos Contentos?

Kickass.
Isn’t that area gentrifying with some new “affordable” housing or something?
They did build some apartments right on the corner of Evergreen but I don’t think there’s been too much gentrification in that spot yet, that’ll come later once they get comfortable but priced out of Boyle Heights! It’s a slow march, but it’s coming.
Something’s happening. I guess they’re digging up everything for the train.
