A Singing Dominatrix you say?

janedie.jpgLike you need another activity to do this weekend. I’m currently juggling 6 events – most of them tomorrow night. Luckily you can hit up this show tonight. It’s at 11pm and I saw it a couple weeks ago. It’s a blast. A chocolate eating Betty Cocker leads you through a decadent show, the highlight (for me) was Domina Jane Die singing while whipping.

Domina Jane Die is a (retired) pro-domme, who also happens to have a background as a jazz vocalist and musical theatre performer. Based on her experiences. she’s created a musical cabaret called The Lonely Domme Syndrome, where she infuses s/m scenes with the classic elegance of jazz standards and torch songs. Domina Jane searches for a “real boyfriend,” singing about her longing for true love as she releases her frustrations in her sadistic appointments.

The deets:
Whipped! Late Night S/M Cabaret
Presented by Celebration Theatre, 7986 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90046.

Last weekend!
Friday+Saturday, 11pm Dec 1+2, Tickets are $10

Have fun! Stay sweet. Shake your bootie!

  1. While you’re at it, go early and see the fantastic production of the musical Splendora that plays at the same theatre (the Celebration) at 8 PM. I saw it a few weeks ago. It’s an affecting, complicated, and beautiful show. I think this might be its last weekend as well. Well worth it.
