I had the opportunity to listen to Dr. Gooddall speak last summer. She was keynote speaker at a convention I was attending.

At the time, I was selling my condo, and trying to buy a house. After listening to her, I wanted to abandon the plan of buying a house, sell everything I owned, and move to Africa.

It may sound trite, but I am serious. She’s incredible to listen to. Very inspiring. If you have the opportunity to listen to her speak, you should.

Sadly, I’m busy this Saturday. If I wasn’t, I would be making the drive up.

Wow, especially after David’s glowing recommendation there I’m going to see if I can manage this into my weekend. Should be an excellent experience for the bioscientist in me.

Honestly, I’m probably not one of the most eco-friendly people in the world. I certainly recycle, but, there is a *lot* more that I could do. I’m always impressed with the amount of good eco I see here.

So, for someone like me to be inspired and moved by her message, then, yah – I think a lot of people, who are more socially conscience than I will take a lot from hearing her speak.
