Cory Doctorow giving a free talk @ USC next Wednesday

Anyone who has been following the fact that 3 of the 4 BoingBoingers live in the greater Los Angeles area now with the recent addition of DRM Smasher Cory Doctorow has certainly been wondering when they are going to get a chance to hear him speak. He just posted details this morning of his first public talk. Cory writes:

I’ll be giving a free public talk to kick off my Fulbright Chair at the University of Southern California’s Annenberg Center on Public Diplomacy — hope you can make it!

When: Wednesday, August 30, 2006, 12:00 PM

Where: University of Southern California, Annenberg Center, Room 207, 3502 Watt Way, LA CA

  1. Of all days Wednesday the 30th! If not for work obligations I’d love to attend. I’ve enjoyed all of Doctorow’s books and relate more to his Boing Boing posts than any of the other contributors.

I’m sure his talk will be highly entertaining, interesting, and informative. Sigh.
