Everyone knows that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is based loosely on Los Angeles, which is why there are matching landmarks and things that make you feel right at home while playing the game. The folks at LA based Gentleman’s Club The Play Pen took serious offense to one of the strip clubs in the game called The Pig Pen, to the point that they file a copyright infringement case against Rockstar Games. You know, because there is a serious chance that someone who wanted to go to the Play Pen would accidentally start playing GTA:SA and visit the Pig Pen instead. A federal judge in LA ruled that the game does not infringe on the tradmark the real life club has no case. Since it seems the people at the Play Pen are too dumb to know when they’ve received a compliment, we can probably expect to see an appeal on this one.
