Free Coffee, But No Free Speech

April 3, 2006 at 1:11 pm in LA

Peets is celebrating another anniversary, and is giving away coffee from 1 – 3pm, all month (if I’m reading the SoCal PDF calendar right, that is – you’ll find it linked on their site) In the immortal words of Barney Gumble, when presented with a Duff Beer tanker truck, “just hook it to my veins!”

Oh, and this has nothing to do with Peets, but as a followup to my last post, I did go to the Venice Boardwalk on Sunday. And it looked as crazy as ever. Except I couldn’t find the World’s Largest Display of Free Speech! Did anyone else see it this weekend, or was I just not paying attention?
