City of LA to pay $1.1 million to B.I.G’s family

In the light of new details about LAPD detective Steven Katz deliberately withholding evidence in the Notorious B.I.G. murder case, US District Judge Florence Marie-Cooper has ordered LA to pay B.I.G.’s family $1.1 million. A retrial is scheduled for later this year.
