Regent Seafood No Longer a C Student

This was on the Downtown LA Life mailing list yesterday:

REGENT SEAFOOD RESTAURANT

The Regent Seafood Restaurant has made the most impressive Chinese
restaurant clean-up, and I do mean clean-up for late 2005. Starting
with a toxic health shaking "C" in November (You would vomit if you
saw why they received a "C"), to a wonderful "A" about two weeks
later. Congratulations!

I know we’ve talked a bit about whether the grading system deals fairly with Chinese restaurants. But either way, this seems like an admirable effort by an establishment to clean up their act. I don’t know how their food is (Citysearch gave them an impressive 8.6), but if you’re looking for Chinese in downtown anytime soon, give them a chance. It seems like an effort like that deserves some support.
