The National Weather Service has issued an advisory (EDIS bulletin here) about high winds and low humidity returning from today through Wednesday. This will undoubtedly exacerbate the existing fire situations, as well as potentially create new ones — so do be careful out there. And stay hydrated — 10-15% humidity is pretty dang low.

Robert:
Thanks for the important reminder. Any one of us, no matter where we live, can be effected by the increase of fire danger brought forth by our seasonal winds.
As luck might have it, I’ll be out of town this week on business. Please don’t let my beloved City blow – or burn away in my absence.
