When worlds collide

In a cool case of bloggy kismet, L.A. news cameraman and blogger Bryan Frank (beFrank) — currently in Texas on assignment covering the aftermath of Hurricane Rita — tells the story of an uncanny case of the Internet come to life in: Aren’t You beFrank?.

The guy in the center asks if I’m Bryan Frank. It took me a moment to realize what was happening. I couldn’t believe it. Somebody actually recognized the SAT truck and had come over to say, hello. Not exactly an earth shaking moment to anyone who’s on TV all the time and kind of expects to be recognized, but really not something that’s been in my realm of experience.

It turned out to be fellow blogger Rusty Surette of “Rusty’s World” (and KBTV out of Beaumont, Texas). He and reporter Maura Siefring […] both recognized me from my blog.

When worlds collide. :)

  1. As always, thanks for the link. If it’s not too much trouble, could you update the excerpt. I did a rewrite. I was sleepy. Sorry.
