B.la Mystery Photo Contest – Vol. 2, No. 6

Been away for a few weeks out of the country and having difficulty getting reacclimated to the whole Everyday Life Thing, I figured I’d attempt to reverse the slide by picking Ye Olde Mystery Photo Contest where I left off before I split. So here we are: a new pic, same lame prize. Come on… admit it: your life was empty while the contest was away.

Clue: This shy mamacita hovering near a cast iron cauldron of something over an open flame might prove a bit of a toughie to pinpoint (but then again whenever I’ve thought so I’ve always been proven wrong). Still, the mural within which this little Sunset Junction sweetheart resides isn’t one that’s clearly visible, and in fact is somewhat imprisoned behind a locked gate. Click the pic to bigger the bugger.

tinytush.jpgRules: Post a comment correctly identifying what’s pictured and where it’s at and you’ll be entered into the pool from which one winner will be randomly chosen and announced Friday. Don’t have a clue where it is? Poaching from other entrants is encouraged. Bitching about poaching being allowed, isn’t. Word is for a prize this week my favorite Sean Bonner in the whole world had lined up a guest-hosting spot on one of next season’s episodes of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” but then he got all “Have At You!” victorious in a best-of-29 thumbwar battle with the show’s star Ty Pennington and words were exchanged and Sean’s wife Caryn had to step in and stungun both of them. Twice. Litigation was threatened and then ABC pulled the plug on that offer. Damn. So while Sean recovers and mines his Treo for other award opp contacts, in the meantime, the winner will receive a collector’s edition Tush sticker printed with real ink and made with real adhesive. In the event of no one getting it right, the creator of the most entertaining guess will be hailed victorious at the discretion of yours very truly. In the event the winner doesn’t want my lousy sticker? Bastard.

  1. Nobody has answered this yet? Well then, I’ll venture a guess.

I believe that this may be at the northwest corner of Sunset and Sanborn behind the Circus of Books? And that looks like tortillas if I’m not mistaken. I could be wrong, but that’s my gut instinct without being able to check.
