I found this “apt for rent” flyer in a coffee shop this morning and was rather amused by who it’s targeting. They are looking for a “Single Male or Female or Couple w/o Children.” Wouldn’t it just be easier to say “no kids”? Or maybe they don’t want anyone who has a boy friend or girl friend? Although “couple” doesn’t imply “married.” Plus it’s funny that “vertical blinds” are a big selling point. Or maybe I just have too much time on my hands?
