You know, since I read that entry about KLSX airing those ads, I haven’t heard them at all. I usually listen to Leykis and, after him, Conway and Steckler, and today there wasn’t a single one played.

Oddly enough, I think I chose (and have supported) KPCC over KCRW not because of programming or personal preference, but rather because of bad press KCRW overlord Ruth Seymour has generated ó even wy before the firing of Sandra Tsing Loh a while ago.

KXLU (88.9), anyone?

KPCC is far better local station than KCRW.

Public radio is not the place for music. Sorry, but it’s true.

Ruth Seymour alone is why KCRW is no longer on my dial. Not content to simply cause havoc with the running of the radio station, she insists on going on air regulalry to berate listeners and force her personal agenda.

Look I grew up with Hanukkah and Passover, and even I don’t want to listen to endless Jewish programming she tosses on the air.
