Down with Fortuna Management

For any readers out there looking for residential lofts to rent, I am going to save you all a big headache and warn you about Textere Plaza owned managed by Fortuna Management and owned by 2222 South Figeroua, LLC. They are all the same bunch of inconsiderate folk who I lease my gallery space from.

Anyone who knows the ordeal I’ve gone through with them would be crazy to lease from Fortuna Management. For instance today, they are testing the fire alarm ALL DAY LONG but don’t bother to tell me or bother to return my calls. So I’m stuck at work unable to do any actual work and my ears are bleeding. But I keep seeing all these suckers coming in to look at the upstairs lofts that will be available in April and I have to warn as much of Los Angeles as I can!

So if you want to be constantly bothered, ill-informed, and treated like crap by people even though you pay good money on time, then go with Fortuna. If not, I urge you to look elsewhere.

  1. In my opinion, the owners of the art gallery should leave if they don’t like the management of the building. They don’t need to make this propaganda and discredit the management company handling the building. If you can’t stand the noise, the dust, etc then just shut and go, the mere fact that they are staying means that it’s either the rent is dirt cheap when they got the unit or they are just plain stupid for staying. Don’t they also know the owner and the management are two different things, if they have any complaint then they should direct it to the owner of the building. So, please just pack up and go. If I was a tenant or employee of the building I would also vote to have the gallery evicted for being so inconsiderate and self centered people. Thank you.

  2. sounds like a certain “mr. perez” is a little bit biased, hmmmmm?

i live in florida. i don’t know anything about LA or its mismanagement companies, but what sort of person advises others that “if you don’t like it, then just leave?”

what’s wrong with trying to get a problem fixed?

    i’m a big fan of sean’s blog.

i hope that anyone reading this realizes how ridiculous it is that someone complains about poor management, and the management company just tells them to shut up. what a poor company they must be.
