LA Times on Blogging and SixApart

March 7, 2005 at 12:22 pm in Uncategorized

Consider this one of those “in case you care” kind of posts for people who give a rats ass about such things. Today’s Los Angeles Times has a story called “Blog Tool Writing Its Own Story of Success” which is about about a little company called SixApart and their blogging tools. As you probably know blogging.la is run on Moveable Type (one of their products) and in fact they were one of the early supporters and sponsors of our Metroblogging project and helped us get all the other sites up and running with their software as well. There’s even a bit in there about Joi, our good friend and contributor to the Tokyo Metblog. It’s always cool seeing your friends name in print, and it’s wonderful to see some respect being sent the direction of people who definitely deserve it. If you want to know more about it all, run and check out the story before the Times locks it away in subscriber only prison.

Also, check out Tony Pierce‘s well said take on the story.
