I saw part of the panel for this film at ComicCon and they showed a few clips. We were rolling in the aisles. The buzz for this film was pretty big even then. Not sure when I’ll get to see it, but I’m looking forward to it.

Trio is running a series called “Spaced,” made by and starring the creators of Shaun of the Dead. I’ve seen two eps so far and it is freaking HYSTERICAL.

My girlfriend and I both went to the AMC 14 in Century City to see it, and my high expectations were sated…I heard about it from a British buddy of mine (it’s already out on DVD across the pond, lucky bastards) and followed a lot of hype on various horror-themed entertainment sites, so I was interested in this film for a while and my urge to see it was a long time coming…kudos to Pegg and Wright for such a refreshing take on the genre!

A copy from across the pond found it’s way over to me about a month ago. A whole bunch of us watched it on the side of my friend’s garage thanks to an LCD projector we commandeered.

Nobody had any idea what they were getting into but everyone who was around that night had a good time. I dug it so much that I’m going to catch it in the theater this weekend.
