THIS IS A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

sent.jpgSo I had the privilege and pleasure of attending the opening reception for Sean and Caryn and Xeni’s SENT exhibit at the swank Standard Hotel Friday night. I also had compassion and empathy for Sean as he privately expressed his concern about some among those in the limited attendance who were ó gasp! ó waving or pointing or putting heinous digits up to the artwork.

For the upcoming public exhibition hours (in which attendance is expected in the thousands), Sean will hopefully have erected some sort of motion-sensing klaxon or electrically charged barrier or velvet rope. But if not, for the sake of Sean’s sanity and in the interest of this landmark exhibit, let’s look but don’t touch, shall we?

  1. Oh, Wil — i guess sean forgot to tell you, but each of the prints include embedded RFID tags that wirelessly beam fingerprint data back to a group of large, burly scary dudes sitting in that utility closet in the back of the room who come out when nobody’s looking and exact painful, tortorous retribution on all phonecam art fondlers.
