Join four Transgender Individuals [Shirley, Sheila, Bambi, Christina]
as they graduate from the LAPD Community Police Academy.

The Community Police Academy was a 10 week course, educating
community members on how the LAPD does their job and what they teach Recruits.

You can show your support by attending the Graduation, and LAPD
efforts to recruit Transgender Individuals.

Following the Graduation will be LAPD’s Recruitment Drive:

To further the efforts in creating a diverse police department in the City
of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Police Department in conjunction with the
Gay and Lesbian Community Forum, will be promoting a recruitment drive
focusing on the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities. Your
presence and support at this event is requested to assist the Department
with their continuing commitment to create a truly diverse Los Angeles
Police Department.

The Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles, celebrating their 25th Anniversary
will be providing a medley of songs.
